Sepp Blatter: World Cup ethics investigation won't be published
FIFA president Sepp Blatter said the ethics investigation into the awarding of the 2018 and 2022 World Cups to Russia and Qatar will not be published, the Associated Press reports.
An investigation by Michael Garcia into possible corruption during the bidding process was recently completed, and Garcia said the report should be made public.

Blatter said there were no requests from the executive committee to publish the report during its meeting on Friday. He also said the members who have called for publication were not present when the decisions were made in 2010.
Several FIFA representatives have said they are in favor of publication to create more transparency in the organization. FIFA presidential candidate Jerome Champagne tweeted his support on Thursday. U.S. Soccer president Sunil Gulati said earlier this week he will push for publication.
FIFA ethics judge Joachim Eckert is not expected to reveal the results until the spring.
