The LA Galaxy and AEG announced Thursday that the team will invest $15 million in improvements for StubHub Center, including the largest LED video board in MLS.

The club plans to build a 5,100 square foot LED video board that it says will "rival most NFL video boards in size and resolution."

Other stadium improvements will include dedicated locker rooms and training facilities for the Galaxy’s player development program.

"These innovations place the Galaxy at the forefront of player development and fan experience," said team president Chris Klein. "The commitment to our fans includes a 14 percent average decrease in 2015 season ticket prices. This well-rounded investment maintains the LA Galaxy’s status as the best club in North America, on and off the field."

The Galaxy has already made over $3.5 million worth of improvements to StubHub Center in the past 18 months, including an all-inclusive premium club and the City National Bank Bar.

StubHub Center is operated by AEG and holds a capacity of 27,000 for MLS games. The stadium is also home to Chivas USA, which was recently sold and is expected to be dissolved in the future.
