Germany general manager Oliver Bierhoff said Tuesday that his team will face the U.S. men's national team in a June friendly.

The location and exact date of the match have yet to be announced, as U.S. Soccer has not confirmed the friendly.

Led by German-born manager Jurgen Klinsmann, the U.S. lost 1-0 to Germany in the team's final group stage match at this summer's World Cup in Brazil. The U.S. still qualified for the knockout stage, falling to Belgium in the round of 16.

The U.S. is getting set to play two friendlies in Europe, first this Friday against world No. 3 Colombia at Craven Cottage in London and then next week against Ireland in Dublin.
