The 2015 MLS All-Star Game will be played at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, home of the Colorado Rapids, Major League Soccer announced on Wednesday.

Colorado also hosted the All-Star Game in 2007, when the MLS All-Stars defeated Scottish side Celtic FC, 2-0. The MLS All-Stars will again face an international club at this year's game, though the opponent has yet to be announced.

Rapids head coach Pablo Mastroeni will coach the MLS All-Stars in the game, which is set to take place on July 29.

"Colorado has become a destination for marquee soccer events, and we are thrilled to bring the AT&T All-Star Game to the region," MLS Commissioner Don Garber said, according to a release. "Dick’s Sporting Goods Park is a tremendous stadium, and we know the enthusiastic support of Centennial 38 and other Rapids fans will provide a great home-field advantage for the MLS All-Stars."

As part of its hosting responsibilities, Colorado will also host the second annual MLS Homegrown Game.

The MLS All-Star team has had mixed success against international powers in recent games. Last season, the All-Stars defeated Bayern Munich 2-1, but European opponents had won four of the previous five matchups.

This year's match will be the 20th All-Star game in MLS history.
