U.S. women's national team goalkeeper Hope Solo was reinstated on Saturday after serving a 30-day suspension. Solo was named to the 25-player roster for the 2015 Algarve Cup in Portugal.

The suspension was levied in late January, after Solo's husband, former Seattle Seahawks tight end Jerramy Stevens, was arrested on suspicion of DUI in an official U.S. Soccer van. Solo, 33, was in the car at the time, though she was not arrested or detained.

The suspension followed several incidents, including the DUI. In June, the goalkeeper was charged with two counts of fourth-degree domestic violence assault for allegedly hitting her half-sister and 17-year-old nephew. A judge dismissed the domestic abuse charges in January.

BIRD: Solo's reinstatement an on-field plus for USWNT

The U.S. played friendlies against France and England during Solo's 30-day absence. Backup goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris started both games, a 2-0 defeat to France and a 1-0 victory over England.

The team's next game is on March 4 against Norway.

Solo, who has 159 caps with the U.S. women's national team, is expected to be the team's goalkeeper at this summer's World Cup in Canada. She broke the record for career shutouts by a female American goalkeeper last September.

The roster for the Algarve Cup, which runs from March 4-11, features 22 of the 24 players who traveled to Europe for the matches against England and France.

Defender Christie Rampone and midfielder Megan Rapinoe will return to action after missing those games with injuries. The U.S. will face Norway, Switzerland and Iceland in Group B.
