Barcelona overcame an early goal from Bayern Munich in typical fashion, as the team's front three of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar combined to put the game, and the semifinal tie, beyond reach for the German side. On both of the trio's goals, the ball went fron Messi, then the Suarez, then to Neymar, who provided the finishing touch.

Messi created the first goal, ignoring a decoy run by Neymar to place a perfect through ball to Suarez to the right of the penalty box. The Uruguayan drew Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer off his line, then laid the ball off to Neymar, who finished simply.

Neymar would get his second goal about 14 minutes later. Again, Messi got things started, this time with a flicked header off a long ball that set Suarez off to the races. Once again, the Uruguayan spotted Neymar on the opposite side of the penalty box. And once again, Neymar finished past Neuer.

Bayern would need a miracle unheard of in modern times to overcome the deficit and win the semifinal tie, as Barcelona how holds a 5-1 lead on aggregate. The goals are Neymar's eighth and ninth in the Champions League this season. He now has 37 goals across all competitions for Barcelona.
