This summer's Women's World Cup and CONCACAF Gold Cup are expected to proceed scheduled amid the United States Department of Justice's ongoing investigation into FIFA corruption.

"[T]he Canadian Soccer Association is confident that the current situation will not impact the competition," Canada Soccer said in a statement.

"CONCACAF continues to operate in the ordinary course of business, hosting all of its upcoming tournaments in a successful and timely manner, including the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup," the federation said in a statement Wednesday.

Four of the 14 defendants in the case are current or former CONCACAF officials. A fifth defendant is a businessman whose company is accused of bribing CONCACAF—Aaron Davidson, the president of sports marketing firm Traffic USA.

According to an indictment unsealed in federal court Wednesday, Traffic USA made bribe payments to CONCACAF officials in exchange for being awarded exclusive marketing rights to multiple Gold Cups and multiple seasons of the CONCACAF Champions League.

The 2015 Gold Cup begins July 7 and will hosted in the United States and Canada. Canada will be the sole host of the Women's World Cup, which begins June 6.

The FBI raided CONCACAF's headquarters in Miami on Wednesday.
