The U.S. women's national team is set to take on China in the quarterfinals of the Women's World Cup in a rematch of the 1999 final after defeating Colombia in the round of 16, and there's no better time to take a trip down memory lane.

The new Planet Fútbol Podcast kicks off with some nostalgia, with SI's Grant Wahl and Brian Straus recalling their memories, where they were and what they were doing on that incredible day in the history of U.S. Soccer.

We then turn our attention to the U.S. men, with Jurgen Klinsmann having named a veteran-laced 23-man roster for next month's CONCACAF Gold Cup. Which selections and omissions surprised us? Whom do we see in the mix for being added to the team between the group and knockout stages (should the USA progress)?

We wrap up with MLS talk, including Straus's breaking story on Atlanta's MLS expansion team name and the possibility of Andrea Pirlo joining MLS with NYCFC (and also entertain the prospect of changing the name of our podcast to "No Pirlo, No Podcast!").
