Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben is out four weeks with a groin injury, the club announced Friday.

Robben left the Netherlands' 1-0 loss against Iceland in a 2016 European Championship qualifier on Thursday in the 31st minute with pain in his left thigh.

Tests conducted Friday revealed an injury in Robben's left groin, which will keep the 31-year-old on the sideline until October.

The injury will force Robben to miss Sunday's pivotal qualifier against Turkey, which the Netherlands must win to have a chance at automatically qualify for next summer's competition in France and avoid the playoff round.

The Dutch currently sit in third place in Group A with three games remaining. They trail the Czech Republic for second place—and an automatic spot in the finals—by six points.
