There are runs of form, and then there's what Robert Lewandowski is currently experiencing.

The Bayern Munich forward enjoyed his third straight multi-goal game, scoring twice early and then adding another in the second half in Bayern's Champions League clash with Dinamo Zagreb at Allianz Arena on Tuesday.

Lewandowski followed his five-goals-in-nine-minutes masterclass against Wolfsburg with two goals over the weekend at Mainz, and he extended that hot streak in the 21st minute with Bayern's second goal of the day. Thiago Alcantara put it on a platter for him on a 2-on-1 counter, and the Poland international finished with ease.

After Mario Gotze extended the lead to 3-0 in the 25th minute, Lewandowski notched his second (in semi-controversial fashion, with a one-timed effort hitting the bottom of the crossbar and appearing to narrowly crossing the line), sending Bayern well on its way to snapping its Croatian opponents' 45-game unbeaten run across all competitions.

He wasn't finished there, though. Lewandowski capped his hat trick in the 55th minute with a slick finish from the edge of the area after toeing the offside line.

Lewandowski now has 10 goals (and counting) in his last three games.
