Didier Drogba: I'm not worried about Chelsea despite EPL struggles

Didier Drogba says he's not worried about Chelsea's struggles in the Premier League.

Chelsea's surprising struggles in the Premier League aren't worrisome to one of the club's all-time legends.

Didier Drogba told SI's Grant Wahl on the Planet Fútbol Podcast that he's not concerned about the state of the club, which is 14 points off the pace in the title race and sits in 14th place with 15 points through 14 games. Drogba scored 164 goals in 381 games with Chelsea, where he won a Champions League title, four Premier League crowns, four FA Cups and three League Cups. After a couple of seasons away, he returned for one more campaign last season and helped the club return to the Premier League peak. It's been a vastly different story this season.

"I think it's a difficult moment like a lot of teams had in the past," said Drogba, who now stars for the Montreal Impact in MLS. "Like Man U had, like Arsenal had, like Liverpool also had. But then we see big teams, big clubs and their ability to come out of this difficult moment and shine again, and I'm not really worried about Chelsea, because I know they're going to come back and be the best in Europe and in the league."
