The River Plate-Boca Juniors rivalry, known as the Superclasico, is notoriously heated. During a match in May, four River players were sent to the hospital after being pepper sprayed by fans during the game.

Tevez, who began his career with Boca Juniors, played for Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus before rejoining his hometown club this summer.
