The man who was prevented from boarding a train in Paris by racially discriminatory Chelsea fans has been invited to attend Paris Saint-German’s Champions League match against the London club on Feb. 16, the Associated Press reports.

The incident occurred last February before a Champions League match between aris Saint-German and Chelsea. The group of Chelsea fans pushed the black man, Souleymane Sylla, out of the train car and then began chanting “We’re racist, we’re racist and that’s the way we like it.”

Sylla’s lawyer told the Associated Press that he will attend the match and has recovered from the traumatizing incident.

The Paris prosecutors’ investigation of the incident is still ongoing.
