Crystal Dunn tied a U.S. women’s national team record with five goals vs. Puerto Rico on Monday.

Crystal Dunn tied a U.S. women’s national team record with five goals in her team’s 10–0 win over Puerto Rico on Monday.

The 23-year-old, who opened the scoring in the match’s sixth minute, added goals in the 21st, 61st, 85th and 87th minutes in the final round of group play in the Olympic qualifying tournament.

She now joins Brandi Chastain, Michelle Akers, Tiffeny Milbrett, Abby Wambach, Amy Rodriguez and Sydney Leroux as the only players in U.S. women’s national team history to score five goals in a game.

Dunn’s performance on Monday upped her national team total to 10 goals in her career. ​

The U.S. advanced to Friday’s semifinal match with a 1–0 win over Mexico on Saturday. The team’s opponent has yet to be determined.
