The United States started the second half of its World Cup qualifier against Guatemala with a bang.
Graham Zusi scored a 46th-minute goal to give the U.S. a 3–0 lead in its do-or-die match against Guatemala. The U.S. entered Tuesday desperately needing a win to keep its World Cup hopes alive.
Zusi scored off a makeshift assist from Gyasi Zardes, whose misplayed touch in the box teed up the goal.
