Watch: Bobby Wood scores in seventh straight game, also sets U.S. record

The Union Berlin forward also set a new goal record for American players in Germany.

U.S. men's national team forward Bobby Wood is now a record-setting striker.

Wood scored in his seventh straight game for Union Berlin, setting a new single-season mark for American forwards in Germany in the process with his two early strikes in a 4-0 win vs. Paderborn on Friday.

Wood scored in the seventh and 13th minutes, giving him 16 goals on the season and snapping Conor Casey's mark of 14 goals, which he scored with Karlsruher in 2003-2004. For his first, he pounced on a turnover in midfield, sliced by three defenders and finished with his right foot.
