Watch: Christian Pulisic scores his first USA goal

The 17-year-old Borussia Dortmund midfielder scored in just his third game on the international level.

Christian Pulisic scored the first international goal of his career Saturday night, putting the USA up 4-0 over Bolivia in a pre-Copa America friendly and becoming the youngest U.S. goal scorer in the modern era. 

Pulisic, the 17-year-old Borussia Dortmund wunderkind, combined with Darlington Nagbe just moments after they both came into the game. Jermaine Jones sparked the sequence by winning a ball in the Bolivia third. He then combined with Nagbe with a couple of one-touch passes, and the Portland Timbers star sprung Pulisic free in the box. Pulisic, who scored two Bundesliga goals this season, calmly slotted home a right-footed finish to open his international account. 

Juan Agudelo was the previous youngest U.S. goal scorer at 17 years, 359 days. Pulisic is 17 years, 253 days.

Against Ecuador on Wednesday night, it was Pulisic's skill on the ball to kill off the game that had plenty talking. The future certainly seems bright for the teenager from Pennsylvania.
