The summer transfer window is open, and clubs looking to retool and restock for a run at the league and European titles are already splashing their cash.
Manchester United, with Jose Mourinho at the helm, has already lured Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan and figures to be a big player throughout the summer yet again as it aims to rejoin England and Europe's elite. Across town, Pep Guardiola is sure to mold Manchester City into his image, and that process has already begun with the signing of Spain forward Nolito and Germany midfielders Ilkay Gundogan and Leroy Sane, with the promise of more on the way.
The spending has already commenced elsewhere, with Bayern Munich, PSG and Borussia Dortmund all positioning themselves for success, while Barcelona has made perhaps its most important move by keeping Neymar put with a new long-term deal.
