On Wednesday it was reported that Chelsea had struck a deal with Real Madrid for the transfer of Alvaro Morata.

The deal is apparently worth around £70m assuming add-ons will have to be paid, and it would appear that Antonio Conte has got the man he wanted all along.

Some outlets have claimed that the Spaniard has been on the manager's radar for a good while, and that it was Michael Emenalo who wanted Romelu Lukaku - a notion that will be accepted and rejected in equal measure.

Morata is expected to meet up with his new teammates following his medical and official announcement, and video clip has now surfaced of him saying goodbye to his Madrid teammates in the US.

He can be seen embracing manager Zinedine Zidane, as well as the likes of Spanish compatriots Sergio Ramos, Isco and Dani Carvajal amongst others before getting into a car.

Chelsea fans will be expected good things from Morata given the hefty price tag and the fact that at one point most of them were anticipating the return of Lukaku to the club.
