Another round of Premier League football, another weekend of pulsating drama.

The two Manchester clubs extended their advantages over the rest of the chasing pack, with City beating West Brom and United besting Tottenham, while other title hopefuls Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea also picked up three points.

There were plenty of flashpoints over the weekend, but what were the best moments?

Best Goal

Poor old Crystal Palace. Teams seem to save their best goals for the Eagles, and it was no different on Saturday when Andre Ayew broke away in midfield to score a memorable goal.

Ayew's strike, a 20-yard effort which went in off the underside of the bar, should have been enough for West Ham to secure victory over Palace, but Roy Hodgson's side rallied to secure an improbable point.

Best Turnaround

In the past few weeks, Arsenal have been criticised for a supposed lack of "cojones", as Watford's Troy Deeney so elegantly put it.

And it looked as though they could have been set for another afternoon of frustration when Swansea took the lead on Saturday through Sam Clucas.

However, the Gunners showed their steel and resolve to turn things around and win in the second half, thanks to Sead Kolasinac and Aaron Ramsey.

Arsenal still have a perfect record at home in the Premier League but face a tougher test next week when they take on Manchester City at the Etihad.

Best Save

Huddersfield needed goalkeeper Jonas Lossl to be at his best if they were to get anything at Anfield and even though they ended up losing 3-0, the Denmark international still kept out Mohamed Salah's penalty, guessing the right way to deflect the Egyptian's shot away from goal.

Goals from Daniel Sturridge, Roberto Firmino and Georginio Wijnaldum in the second half were enough for Liverpool, who put themselves back in the reckoning for a top four spot with the win, but Lossl's effort is still worthy of inclusion on this list.

Best Start to Another New Era

Leicester recently appointed Claude Puel after Craig Shakespeare's sacking, with the Frenchman becoming the third manager to take charge at the King Power Stadium in a year.

Sunday's opponents Everton remain without a boss but Leicester showed them no mercy with their classic brand of counter-attacking football, something we haven't seen enough of so far this season.

Jamie Vardy's goal was vintage Leicester from the 2015-16 campaign while Demarai Gray looked a player reborn, setting up the first with an incredible run before profiting from Jonjoe Kenny's slice to claim the second.

Best Assist

As there was a lack of quality assists at the weekend, we've plugged for Michail Antonio's incredulous cross against Palace.

With time running out, Antonio had skinned his man on the right wing and could have kept the ball for another 20 or 30 seconds as West Ham looked to secure all three points.

Instead, the winger thumped a cross into the box which was comfortably dealt with by James Tomkins and Julian Speroni before the latter pumped the ball forward.

Wilfried Zaha eventually got on the ball and twisted and turned before finding the far corner with a precise finish. Michail, hang your head in shame.

Best Rinse

While not many would claim Ashley Young is a better player than Dele Alli, the former certainly bested his opponent when the duo got into a scrap on Saturday.

The pair are not known for holding back on the football pitch, so it wasn't a surprise to see them squaring up and enjoying a playful bit of fisticuffs during Saturday's early kick-off between Manchester United and Tottenham.

While Alli has two PFA Young Player of the Year awards to his name, Young has a whole host of domestic trophies in his cabinet, and he reminded Alli of that fact after their scuffle died down, quipping: "When you win the Prem, let me know."

Try coming back from that, Dele.
