With the French Open in the books, here's a look at some of the numbers that defined the tournament.
8: French Open titles for Rafael Nadal, the first man to win that many titles at any Grand Slam tournament.

31: Consecutive victories for Serena Williams, a career high. The last seven of those came at the French Open.
4: Female players in the Open era (since 1968) who have won all four majors at least twice: Williams, Steffi Graf, Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert.
4: U.S. women who made the fourth round (Williams, Sloane Stephens, Bethanie-Mattek Sands and Jamie Hampton), the most Americans in the round of 16 at a major since the 2004 U.S. Open.
91-4: Serena's record since April 2012.
29: Games lost by Williams in seven matches, equaling her most dominant run en route to a major title (2002 U.S. Open). Williams lost one set at Roland Garros, against Svetlana Kuznetsova in the quarterfinals.
12: Consecutive Grand Slam semifinals for Novak Djokovic, second all time behind Roger Federer's 23.
12: Match points saved by John Isner in his third-round match against Tommy Haas, who converted his 13th to win 7-5, 7-6 (4), 4-6, 6-7 (10), 10-8.
9: Match points saved by Isner in the 12th game of the fourth set against Haas.
5: Career Grand Slam semifinals for Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, the most for a Frenchman in the Open era.
1-15: Richard Gasquet's record in the fourth round of majors after a five-set loss to Stanislas Wawrinka in the round of 16 at Roland Garros.
900: Career match victories for Federer, who notched the milestone with a five-set victory over Gilles Simon in the fourth round. Federer is fourth all time, behind Jimmy Connors (1,243 victories), Ivan Lendl (1,071) and Guillermo Vilas (924).
36: Consecutive Slam quarterfinals for Federer.
1927: The last time, before this year, that a player came back from two sets down to win three consecutive Grand Slam matches. Quarterfinalist Tommy Robredo accomplished the feat this year, and Henri Cochet did it 86 years ago.
10: Years since the top five women's seeds advanced to the quarterfinals of a major. Before the French Open, the last time it happened was 2003 Wimbledon.
47: Shots in the longest rally of the tournament, between Simon and Lleyton Hewitt in the first round.
3: Points on serve that Victoria Azarenka won in the first set of her semifinal loss to Maria Sharapova.
14-0: Nadal's record in finals against fellow Spaniards after defeating countryman David Ferrer.
1-29: Sara Errani's record against top-five players, with the victory coming against No. 4 Agnieszka Radwanska in the quarterfinals.
