Video: Grigor Dimitrov hits fantastic backhand flick for winner

Grigor Dimitrov wants to shed his "Baby Fed" nickname and stand as his own man, but hitting shots like this isn't going to help his cause.

During the third set of his first-round match at the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament on Tuesday, Dimitrov drew Dmitry Tursunov into the net with a drop shot. Tursunov guided a forehand deep into Dimitrov's backhand corner. Rather than throw up a lob or go cross court, Dimitrov responded with a well-disguised backhand flick down the line for the winner. Who saw that coming?

Dimitrov, playing his first event since a breakthrough run to the Australian Open quarterfinals, went on to win 6-2, 1-6, 6-4. He'll face Ernests Gulbis on Thursday, in a match that should produce more than a handful of stunning winners. And maybe, if we're lucky, a few quality racket smashes.
