Naomi Osaka Withdraws from 2020 French Open
Three-time major champion Naomi Osaka has pulled out of this year's French Open. Osaka recently took home her second U.S Open and is suffering from a hamstring injury. She shared on social media that due to the injury and lack of time she will be unable to make it to the French Open
Osaka shared, “My hamstring is still sore so I won’t have enough time to prepare for the clay — these 2 tournaments came too close to each other for me this time.”
The French Open was originally scheduled to begin on May 4th but due to the pandemic is now scheduled to begin on Sept. 27.
