Introduction

Tiger Woods makes his 2007 PGA Tour debut this week at the Buick Invitational in San Diego. He'll enter the year riding a six-tournament Tour win streak. Six more wins and he'll break the Tour record of 11 set by Byron Nelson in 1945. Just to refresh your memory, here's how Tiger has crafted his current streak.

1. British Open

Just two months earlier, Tiger lost his dad to cancer. Woods managed to keep his emotions in check until clinching his two-shot victory at Royal Liverpool -- then his eyes filled with tears, knowing that his 11th major championship would be his first without his dad sharing in the celebration.

2. Buick Open

Four rounds of 66 gave Tiger a three-stroke win at Warwick Hills, Mich. At age 30, Tiger becomes the youngest Tour pro to reach 50 career wins.

3. PGA Championship

Thanks to a course-record 65 in the third round at Medinah, Tiger cruised to a five-shot win and his 12th career major. That puts him two-thirds of the way to Jack Nicklaus' all-time mark.

4. WGC-Bridgestone Inv'tl

A birdie putt on the fourth playoff hole at Firestone against Stewart Cink preserved Tiger's streak -- as well as his domination in World Golf Championship events.

5. Deutsche Bank Champ.

Tiger roared past Vijay Singh with a final-round 63 at the TPC Boston.

6. WGC-American Express

Tiger blew away the field at The Grove in England, winning by eight strokes after setting the tone with an opening-round 63.

7. Buick Invitational

Going into the weekend, Tiger trailed the leaders by seven. But he went 9-under-par over the final two rounds to win at Torrey Pines by two strokes.
