CHICAGO (AP) Artemis Racing of Sweden won the America's Cup World Series stop on Lake Michigan on Sunday.

Skippered by Australian Nathan Outteridge, Artemis had finishes of second, first and fourth. It led around every mark in the second race.

''We feel that we have very good boat handling now, and very good speed,'' Outteridge said. ''We wanted to be consistent all weekend, and the guys really stepped it up.''

Rounding out the field were Land Rover BAR of England, SoftBank Team Japan, Emirates Team New Zealand, two-time defending America's Cup champion Oracle BMW Racing and Groupama Team France.

Emirates Team New Zealand continues to lead the overall standings, followed by Land Rover BAR, Oracle, Artemis Racing, SoftBank Team Japan and Groupama Team France.

This was the first America's Cup-style racing on fresh water. The regattas are warmups for the 2017 America's Cup in Bermuda.
