BROCK LESNAR NEWS: WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW STAR RECALLS IN-RING INCIDENT WITH FORMER UFC CHAMPION

WWE superstars have returned to the United States after taking a trip to Lyon, France for the WWE Backlash 2024 PLE. Tonight's episode of Raw will be held inside the XL Center in Hartford, CT. Round 1 matches for the men include GUNTHER vs. Sheamus, Ricochet vs. Ilja Dragunov, Drew McIntyre vs. Finn Balor, and Rey Mysterio vs. Kofi Kingston.

There is history between GUNTHER and Sheamus, as the pair had a memorable Intercontinental Championship match at Clash at the Castle back in September 2022. They were involved in another instant classic at WrestleMania 39 with their triple threat match, which also featured Drew McIntyre.

As for the opening round female matches, IYO SKY vs. Natalya, Asuka vs. Lyra Valkyria, Shayna Baszler vs. Zelina Vega, and Zoey Stark vs. Ivy Nile are on the docket for Monday Night Raw. This will be Lyra's first match on the red brand, and many are wondering if she can pull off a massive win in her debut as a full-time main roster star.

It's a stacked night for WWE fans, and Sports Illustrated's MMA Knockout will be providing live coverage of all the action this evening. Peep our homepage later tonight for live results and video highlights throughout the show. The festivities will begin at 8 p.m. ET.
