WWE Rumors: More Details Surface on WWE Raw Superstar's Serious Injury

Some more information has surfaced on Rhea Ripley's injury after she was forced to relinquish the WWE Women's World Championship.

Details have emerged on an injury that a former world champion recently suffered on WWE TV.

During the April 15th episode of Monday Night Raw, fans were happy to see Sheamus return to the ring in a successful showing against Ivar. "The Celtic Warrior" had been out of action since August 2023 due to a shoulder injury.

On the same night Sheamus returned, a popular WWE superstar said goodbye to the WWE Universe for now due to an injury.

YET ANOTHER WWE SUPERSTAR TURNS HEEL ON FANS DURING MONDAY NIGHT RAW

Fans were saddened to learn that PWInsider's report on an injury to Rhea Ripley was accurate. Ripley announced that she was injured during her backstage brawl with Liv Morgan on the April 8th episode of WWE Raw. Ripley was in a sling and announced she will be out of action for a few months and is forced to vacate the Women's World Championship.

In a follow-up, PWInsider reports that Rhea suffered an injury to her AC joint. The report notes that it is unknown whether or not Ripley will need surgery along with her physical therapy. This will ultimately determine "Mami's" recovery time. Bryan Alvarez of F4W noted that the chair shot from Liv during the brawl segment was not what caused the injury, and PWInsider confirmed that as well.

Many have pointed out that Rhea's injury likely occurred when Liv threw her into a wall. With the info given on the injury, it would make sense as Rhea's arm slammed into the wall. Ripley was also seen holding onto her arm before Dominik Mysterio pushed the camera away.
