Floyd Mayweather beat Manny Pacquiao late on Saturday night PT, but many boxing fans who paid nearly $90 or $100 for the pay-per-view fight were not satisfied with the outcome, calling it "boring" and "underwhelming."
The fight took place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, late Saturday night PT. Pacquiao now has a record of 57-6, while Mayweather boasts an unblemished 48-0 mark.
One notable name who was displeased with the fight was former boxer Oscar De La Hoya, who tweeted his apologies to boxing fans for the boring fight and said he thought the fans did not get their money's worth.
Call me old school but I like the fans getting their money's worth by watching an action packed fight.— Oscar De La Hoya (@OscarDeLaHoya) May 3, 2015

This fight was almost as boring as watching a Sabres vs Coyotes game— Dumb Hockey Fans Say (@DumbHkyFansSay) May 3, 2015
Biggest disappointment for me? The fight didn't inspire or warrant a rematch. Mayweather did what he had to do in an otherwise boring bout.— Sid Rosenberg (@sidrosenberg) May 3, 2015
Boring fight, rather watch the Knicks— KnicksNation (@KnicksNation) May 3, 2015
Most expensive boring fight in the world. What fight were the judges watching? Shout out to the Guy who bought 2nd row seat for 700k.— Marek Zmyslowski (@marekchinedu) May 3, 2015
Pretty boring fight. Not too surprised unfortunately— Ben Volin (@BenVolin) May 3, 2015
Same thing I've said after every Mayweather fight: can I have my money back? Most boring fighter ever, even if technically superior.— Mike Salk, 710 ESPN (@TheMikeSalk) May 3, 2015
