Three-star power forward recruit Ray Kasongo has signed with the College of Southern Idaho, a junior college program, reports Barry Hayes of HoopsStars Canada.

Kasongo had originally signed with Oregon but was denied admission by the school in July and re-opened his recruiting process.

According to CollegeBasketballTalk.com, Kasongo originally considered Cal, Kansas and Memphis but then shifted his focus to Indiana and LSU. After it didn't work out with those schools, he reportedly considered Michigan State.

Kasongo was rated the No. 223 player in the country by 247Sports' composite ranking. A native of Canada, he played for several American high schools in his prep career.
