Turner Sports announcer Kevin Harlan is talking a bit of heat for his controversial call at the end of Syracuse’s upset win over Virginia in the Elite Eight on Sunday.
After the final buzzer sounded, Harlan proclaimed coach Jim Boeheim and Syracuse “back from the dead on Easter Sunday.”
The call caused quite the stir on Twitter after the game.
If I were Kevin Harlan, I'd be getting my apology ready. Quick.

.@Kevinharlan An apology wouldn't suffice for your "back from the dead on Easter Sunday" comment. Uncalled for and beyond offensive!

Just to follow on Kevin Harlan. I find his comment totally inappropriate. To liken Syracuse win to Christ's resurrection is just wrong.

Someone please explain to me how what Kevin Harlan said is the least bit offensive?

Kevin Harlan should call it a career after that https://t.co/YsajqUCUJ9

So if Syracuse is risen, according to Kevin Harlan, it's gonna get really strange in 10 days.

This was Harlan’s last game of the NCAA tournament. Jim Nantz will work the Final Four on TV and Kevin Kugler will have the call on the radio.
