He could have been a top-10 pick had he entered the 2014 NFL Draft. Instead, Hundley came back to school for some unfinished business, as he attempts to lead the Bruins to top of the Pac-12 and possibly into the first-ever college football playoff. At a press conference in April explaining why he was returning to school, Hundley said, "Bringing UCLA back to national prominence ... developing to be the best quarterback I can ... enjoying what I have ... getting a degree."
Hundley completed 67 percent of his passes for 3,071 yards with 24 touchdowns and nine interceptions last season, leading UCLA to a 10-3 record and a rout of Virginia Tech in the Sun Bowl.
