Notre Dame LB Kolin Hill will transfer

Notre Dame defensive end/linebacker Kolin Hill will transfer from the school, according to a report from Irish Illustrated.
Hill is not with the team and already back home in Texas, according to the report.
Hill, a sophomore, played defensive end in nine games for the Fighting Irish last season. In the spring, he saw practice time at linebacker.
As a freshman, Hill recorded seven tackles and two sacks, including a one-and-a-half sack game against rival Michigan.

Notre Dame has now lost three prospects along its defensive line. Defensive end Jhonny Williams also transferred this summer, and three-star recruit Bo Wallace never joined the team.
The Fighting Irish open the 2015 season on Sept. 5 at home against Texas. Notre Dame is ranked fourth in Sports Illustrated's preseason rankings.
Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly confirms DL Kolin Hill of Schertz, Texas, plans to transfer to a school closer to home.
