The Oklahoma State Cowboys head to Waco, Texas, to face the Baylor Bears in their first road game of the season on Saturday night.

Oklahoma State rebounded from its controversial loss to Central Michigan last weekend, as the team's offense exploded for a 45–38 victory over Pitt. Quarterback Mason Rudolph hit Jhajuan Seales with an 86-yard pass before Rennie Childs ran the ball in for one yard and scored his fourth touchdown of the game with 1:28 remaining, securing the win. Rudolph finished the day with 26 of 46 passes completed for 540 yards and two touchdowns. 

Baylor remains ranked after a 38–10 win over Rice. Quarterback Seth Russell passed for 337 yards and three touchdowns despite being scoreless in the first quarter.
