Facebook unveils 2015 MLB fandom map ahead of opening day
Facebook has released its MLB fan map for 2015, showing the reach, or lack thereof, of each Major League franchise.

The graphic is created by measuring how many likes each squads official Facebook page has in each county in the U.S. and Canada, to show that the Yankees are still very popular.

The Mets and A's are again left off the map as they are outnumbered by their nearby rivals the Yankees and Giants respectively.
The social networking site also unveiled a map which showed the increase in fandom seen by the AL and NL champion Kansas City Royals and San Francisco Giants.
