Quarterbacks Picked 1-2 In Draft

The first round of the NFL Draft set us up for more weekend drama and it's worth noting that for just the sixth time since 1967, a quarterback was chosen with the first two picks. The other five instances are in the above gallery (click here for full-size version). And while we're talking draft, here are first-round grades, a Round 2 Mock Draft, an explanation of how the Jets almost drafted Todd Gurley and why ESPN's Louis Riddick is a star.

Tom Brady's Kentucky Derby Entourage

Few athletes enjoy the Kentucky Derby as much as Tom Brady, who famously sported this ridiculous fauxhawk at last year's event. The race is Saturday, of course, and Brady (and his entourage) posted a group photo before departing. And since you asked, I'm picking Dortmund to win the race. Well, Tim Layden picked Dortmund and he knows a million times more than I do. Lastly, here's a gallery of celebrities at the Derby over the years.

Memorable Ring Entrances

We are a day away from the biggest fight of the past two decades. Residents of the Philippines are being urged to conserve electricity for the big fight while Laila Ali can't stop talking trash about Floyd Mayweather. I'm excited for the ring entrances as the internet will likely explode if/when Justin Bieber leads Mayweather to ringside and Pacquiao sings himself down the aisle. Uproxx looks at memorable ring entrances from years past, including Mike Tyson walking in to the sweet sounds of Tupac Shakur.

P.M. Lovely Lady of the Day

Chris from Rhode Island wrote in to request that Candice Patton, who stars in the CW series The Flash, be featured as LLOD. Solid request and one I'm happy to oblige (click here for full-size gallery).
