Chicago Cubs chill with some zoo animals at Wrigley Field

Chicago Cubs players and coaches hung out with some zoo animals Tuesday.

The Chicago Cubs are having a pretty great season at 88–62.

And when your team is having a fun season, you can do something like hang with animals on the field. That’s exactly what the Cubs did Tuesday, undoubtedly much to the fear of their groundskeeping crew.

According to ESPN’s Jesse Rogers, Maddon planned for the Cubs to get some hangout time with animals right on the field at Wrigley.

The Cubs  mad at AC/DC for ruining the infield at Wrigley

Seems like a missed opportunity here though, because they didn’t appear to bring any actual Cubs to the party. Let‘s go through the animals the Cubs did bring:

Ha look at that cute penguin.

Looks like that sloth is just hanging out.

Whoa, someone get that snow leopard out of the sun!

This sloth looks faster than Yadier Molina.

Seriously, the snow leopard does not look healthy in all this time outside the snow.

Then the flamingo sat in on Maddon’s press conference.
