If you needed more proof that football fans in the South take things a bit too seriously, here you go.

Georgia pulled off a dramatic win over Mizzou on the road this week, with Bulldogs quarterback Jacob Eason finding Isaiah McKenzie for the game-winning score on fourth down.

One Georgia fan was so hyped that his celebration landed him in the hospital.

Just a warning, things are about to get bloody.

The overzealous Dawgs fan is apparently a guy named Michael DiNardo. He got the injured bicep stitched up and confirmed that Georgia is still No. 1.

If Michael reacted like that to a game the Bulldogs were favored in, how will he react to a tougher matchup this week against Ole Miss?
