The San Francisco Giants and starting pitcher Jeff Samardzija have agreed to terms on a five-year deal pending a physical, the team announced on Saturday.

The deal is worth $90 million, according to Alex Pavlovic of CSN Bay Area.

Samardzija, 30, is coming off a disappointing 2015 campaign that saw him post a 4.96 ERA in 214 innings, his worst mark since 2010. Two seasons ago, he was elected to his first All-Star game, earning a 2.99 ERA in 219 2/3 innings for both the Cubs and Athletics.
