Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor belted a two-run home run off Toronto Blue Jays starter Marco Estrada in the sixth inning to give Cleveland a 2–0 lead it would not relinquish in taking Game 1 of the ALCS.

Lindor, 22, hit a changeup from Estrada into right-center field.

Watch the home run below:

Lindor is the first Indian since Kenny Lofton in the 1998 American League Division Series to hit a go-ahead home run in the sixth inning or later of a postseason game, according to Katie Sharp of RiverAvenueBlues.com.

Bauer (finger) has start moved back to Game 3

The Indians are hoping to advance to the World Series for the first time since 1997.

This is the first time in which the Indians are in the postseason since the American League wild card in 2013.
