Standing room only tickets for Game 3 at Wrigley will cost you at least $2,300

It’s only going to rise.

If you want to gain admission to the first game of the World Series played at Wrigley Field since 1945, you’re going to need to pay a pretty penny.

Hours after Chicago clinched a spot in the Fall Classic, standing room only tickets—the cheapest available—to the game were going for upwards of $2,300 on StubHub and over $2,400 on TicketiQ. That’s around 383 times what it cost in 1945.

Of course, the Cubs are attempting to break a 108-year championship drought, so many will find the cost to be more than worth it. Or, you could go to Wrigleyville and enjoy the game in a jam-packed bar and guzzle down some overpriced drinks.
