The Commonwealth Games Federation will send the violation to the World Anti-Doping Agency if she is found guilty at her hearing. WADA could impose up to a two-year ban for the doping violation.

Mike Hooper, chief executive of the CFG, said: "The athlete has been notified of the findings and has the right to respond until Friday, 22 August."

Montsho finished fourth in the 400m at this year's Commonwealth Games after she won gold at the event in 2010. She also won gold at the 2011 World Championships and a silver in the 2013 World Championships.
