Welcome to episode No. 12 of The Gray Area. Each day on SI Now, host Maggie Gray sits down with some of the brightest stars and biggest newsmakers in the world of sports. On The Gray Area podcast, Maggie gives listeners the inside story behind those interviews and offers her opinion on the sports news of the week.

On this week’s episode, Maggie welcomes two colleagues onto the show. Following the news that ESPN would be suspending Grantland, Richard Deitsch joins the program to talk about the sudden announcement. The MMQB’s Jenny Vrentas also reacts to the news about Grantland and shares what it was like to become a viral sensation after she was caught on camera reacting to Jerry Jones talking about Greg Hardy.

You’ll also hear from Evander Holyfield, where he speaks about the perception that he was always fighting in the shadow of Mike Tyson, and tune in to hear whether or not he would fight Tyson again and what it would take to get the job done. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was on SI Now as well, and he talks to Maggie about big men in the NBA. Brennan Williams, the former NFL player that quit the league to try and become a professional wrestler, talks to Maggie about why he chose to leave the NFL and which WWE wrestler he would like to fight the most. Finally, you’ll hear the first edition of Maggie’s Moments with Jim Abbott.
