Report: Milwaukee Bucks close to signing Jerryd Bayless

The Milwaukee Bucks are close to signing free agent guard Jerryd Bayless, reports ESPN.com's Marc Stein.

Bayless averaged 9.3 points and 2.7 assists per game in 72 games last season with the Memphis Grizzlies and the Boston Celtics.

Bayless, 25, was a first-round pick in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers.

He has spent time with the Portland Trail Blazers, New Orleans Pelicans and Toronto Raptors in his six NBA seasons, averaging 8.5 points, 2.9 assists and 1.9 rebounds per contest over his career.
