Cavaliers PF Kevin Love (back) expected to play Friday vs. Hornets

Cleveland Cavaliers star Kevin Love is expected to play in tonight's game against the Hornets in Charlotte, according to multiple reports. Love left Tuesday night's loss to the Atlanta Hawks with back spasms and sat out the team's loss the the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love is expected to play in Friday's game against the Hornets in Charlotte, according to multiple reports.

Love left Tuesday night's loss to the Atlanta Hawks with back spasms and sat out the team's loss the the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday.

Over 31 games this season, Love has averaged 16.7 points and 10.1 rebounds while posting a 17.8 Player Efficiency Rating.

Prior to Wednesday, Love had not missed a game in his first year with Cleveland following a summer trade from Minnesota.

The Cavaliers announced on Thursday that star LeBron James would miss two weeks after being diagnosed with a knee strain and lower back strain.

Cleveland has lost four of its last five games and is now in fifth place in the Eastern Conference.
