The Spurs have waived forward Austin Daye, the team announced on Saturday.

San Antonio will replace Daye with JaMychal Green, according to a report from Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

Over 26 games this season, Daye has averaged 4.0 points and 2.3 rebounds while shooting 35.1 percent from the field.

Daye is in his sixth season in the league since being selected in the first round of the 2009 draft out of Gonzaga.

Green has averaged 23.0 points and 10.9 rebounds in 20 games with the Austin Spurs of the NBA D-League.

The Spurs waived the 6-foot-9 forward in October after signing him in August.

Green went undrafted in 2012 out of Alabama.
