San Antonio Spurs fans waited to greet their team at the airport when the players arrived home after losing to the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the playoffs.

The Spurs, the defending NBA champions, lost Game 7 to the Clippers on Saturday night when Chris Paul made the game-winning layup with one second left.

With Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili set to become free agents this summer, the future of the Spurs is somewhat uncertain, though coach Gregg Popovich said Saturday that he believes the team's core will remain intact.

"I have no clue. We'll probably come back," Popovich told reporters. "The paycheck is good. You think I'm joking."
