Kings’ DeMarcus Cousins suspended one game for striking Hawks’ Horford

Sacramento Kings forward DeMarcus Cousins has been suspended one game for striking Atlanta Hawks forward Al Horford in the head with his forearm, the NBA announced Thursday.
The play occurred with two minutes left in the first quarter of Atlanta’s 103–97 win over Sacramento on Wednesday night. Cousins will miss Thursday’s game against the Miami Heat.
Following a made basket, Cousins appeared to get tangled up with Horford and Tiago Splitter, and subsequently threw a forearm in Horford’s direction, hitting him in the side of the head.
The Kings are 0–4 in games without Cousins this season, and 4–4 with the All Star center in the lineup.
