Memphis Grizzlies forward Matt Barnes has been suspended one game for trying to follow Bucks forward John Henson into the locker room and “verbally challenging” him, the NBA announced Saturday.

Barnes will miss the Grizzles’ game against the Clippers on Saturday night.

Barnes and Henson got into a taunting match after Henson blocked Barnes’ shot late in the Bucks win over the Grizzlies on Thursday. Henson was given two technical fouls and ejected. After Henson left the court, Barnes ran after him into the tunnel.

Bucks guard Grevis Vasquez was fined $15,000 for also leaving the court. Bucks big men Giannis Antetokounmpo and Greg Monroe were fined $10,000 for taking part in the on-court incident. Barnes was also suspended earlier this season for his off-season altercation with then-Knicks coach Derek Fisher.

The Grizzlies entered Saturday 39–30 and in fifth place in the Western Conference.
