Grizzlies center Marc Gasol thinks his brother, Pau, could sign with the San Antonio Spurs as a free agent this summer, reports John Martin of ESPN.

Gasol made it clear that he has yet to talk to his brother about the impending decision, but that his recommendation would be heading to San Antonio.

When asked why his advice would be to join the Spurs, Gasol cited the franchise’s management and organization.

Pau, 35, averaged 16.5 points and 11.0 rebounds in 72 games with the Chicago Bulls this season, his second with the team. However, Chicago struggled overall, failing to make the playoffs.

Gasol’s Grizzlies were swept out of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs by the Spurs, although he did not play in the series with a foot injury.
