Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James rejected Donald Trump’s characterization of lewd comments on women as “locker room talk," calling the presidential candidate's words “trash talk” while addressing reporters on Wednesday.

In a 2005 video tape, obtained by The Washington Post and NBC News, Trump made a series of lewd comments about women in a conversation with Access Hollywood's Billy Bush. Trump describes trying to have sex with a married woman and brags about women letting him kiss and grab them because he is famous. The Republican presidential nominee responded to critics by trying to characterize his predatory, sexual comments about women as “locker room talk.”

James pushed back against that on Wednesday,

“What is locker room talk to me? It's not what that guy said. We don't disrespect women in no shape or fashion in our locker rooms. That never comes up," James said. "I've got a mother-in-law, my mom, a wife and a daughter and those conversations just don't go on in our locker room.”

CJ McCollum and Jamal Crawford are among the NBA players that took to Twitter to voice their displeasure with Trump's comments.

James has already endorsed Hillary Clinton for president. Ohio is expected to be a swing state on election day.
